These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and the garage door services provided by Steward Garage Door Service ("Steward," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking an appointment, requesting service, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
Steward provides garage door repair, maintenance, installation, and related services to residential and commercial customers in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The specific work to be performed will be described in the estimate provided to you before any work begins.
When you submit a booking request through this website, you are requesting an appointment — not confirming one. Requested days and arrival windows are subject to availability. We will contact you by phone to confirm your appointment. Arrival windows are estimates; we will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the selected window.
A technician will inspect your garage door and provide an estimate before performing work. We do not begin work until you have approved the estimate. Prices may change if the scope of work changes or if additional issues are discovered during the visit; any such changes will be discussed with you before proceeding.
The standard trip charge is waived for appointments booked online through this website. This waiver applies to the diagnostic visit and does not include the cost of parts, labor, or repairs.
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept common forms of payment as communicated by your technician. Unpaid balances may be subject to collection.
Steward stands behind its workmanship. Parts are covered by their respective manufacturers' warranties. Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, accidents, weather, neglect, or work performed by others. Please ask your technician for the warranty terms applicable to your specific job.
You may cancel or reschedule an appointment by calling us at . We ask that you provide as much notice as possible so we can offer the time to other customers.
If you opt in to receive text messages, you consent to receive appointment-related and, where selected, promotional text messages from Steward at the phone number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Opting out of marketing messages does not prevent us from contacting you about a scheduled appointment.
Any photos, files, or details you submit through the booking form are used solely to diagnose your issue and provide service. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the form.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steward's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the services giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
The Steward Care Plan is an optional monthly membership billed at the rate stated at sign-up. It is month-to-month with no long-term contract, and you may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund membership dues already paid.
Active members accrue Steward Loyalty Credit at a rate of $10 for each month of paid, active membership. Loyalty Credit may be applied toward a new garage door installation of $2,000 or more, becomes available after twelve (12) months of continuous membership, and accumulates up to a maximum of $360. Loyalty Credit has no cash value, is non-transferable, cannot be combined with other promotional offers, and is forfeited in full if membership lapses or is cancelled. Membership benefits, pricing, and Loyalty Credit terms may be updated on a going-forward basis.
